I'm not sure if anyone here remembers me but I will be back on runs shortly. My name is Travis and I had a white 1988 Mazda rx7 that I took on a few runs and also sometimes my dad came out with his Carbon Black M3 or white Nismo 370z. Anyways I sold the rx and have been doing the desert thing with my new truck for the past year or so. I just started a great job last week and another car is in my new future. My fiancé and I are going to buy an 05 MKIV VW Jetta GLI. I already have the mod list written out, just waiting for the paychecks to start rolling in. Just wanted to say I can't wait to get back out there with the group. :drink:

The trail up Silverwood is 2N17X. We've done a couple Motorgen offroad runs up it. Any plans for the Sports Trac? I have a 2nd gen that I did a solid axle and V8 conversion on.

Thank you. As far as the sport trac goes, it is really a waiting game right now. First I had mid travel plans but decided that wouldn't be enough. Then I got a quote from BTF Fabrication for long travel and it was a really good price but I don't have the money to get a car and long travel. I also thought about a Polaris Rzr and an enclosed trailer but I have finally decided on a car. My fiancé's car has 213,000 on it and is becoming a real pain. So right now we just share the truck and are saving for a new car. We were looking for any sports car in the 11000 and under range (used) and came up with a 05 mkiv jetta gli. I always said I would never own a fwd sports car but it is really the best for the money (imo) and I love the way the car looks. Plus they can make ok power with just bolt-ons and software. Nice sploder btw. I thought about an sas on mine but it is 2wd and I can't imagine the money and work involved to do the conversion.

Found a few more pics-

Stuck at Cleghorn- this was one of my first trips. Before I brought 2x6's, shovel, and a jack with me. I learned pretty quickly.

Locker install- the yellow bucket in the bottom left corner was filled with water and housing our tools. We did this in the middle of summer and the damn tools kept burning our hands. It worked quite well.
