Despite Volkswagen (http://www.autoblog.com/volkswagen/) bringing both GTI (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/03/05/volkswagen-hatches-hotter-gti-in-geneva/) and Variant wagon (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/03/04/volkswagen-golf-variant-geneva-2013/) versions of its new Golf (http://www.autoblog.com/volkswagen/golf/) to Geneva (http://www.autoblog.com/geneva-motor-show/) this year, some would argue that the best looking Golf on the show floor is wearing a Seat badge. The Spanish Volkswagen subsidiary has unveiled its three-door Leon SC for the Swiss crowds, and the car's neatly creased hatchback form is, at least, a pleasant visual alternative to the slope-nosed VW.
The technical details about the Seat Leon have been available for a little while now (we've reported on both the five-door (http://www.autoblog.com/2012/07/16/new-seat-leon-brings-all-new-design-more-tech-and-enjoyneering/) and the three-door (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/02/14/seat-shows-leon-sc-three-door-ahead-of-geneva/) cars already), but it's good to see the thing in the metal and with live images. To refresh: the Leon will offer a full complement of diesel and direct-injection gasoline engines, both manual and DSG transmissions, and a whole host of technology from the VW corporate toy box.
