For anyone not familiar, "Up" is the newest Pixar movie. It's fantastic - definitely one of the best Pixar movies (and that's saying something). In short, go see it.

Looks cute. Probably wait til DVD though. I do want to see Terminator or Star Trek on the big screen as well as the upcoming Transformers, and that'll be my limit. I can't even remember the last time I went to the theaters.

Let's just say I have more than a few pulls on my time and income ;)
I'm planning to see "Field of Dreams (http://motorgen.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3980)" at the Fox Fullerton this Thursday. If you can, why don't you roll?

Terminator I've heard is awful. I was looking forward to it right up until they announced McG as the director. That guy is a clown and has never made a good movie :barf::barf::barf:
Star Trek was very good. Up was much better though.

Amy and I want to take our girls to see Up but it's only playing in 3D here and I just can't fork out $60.00 to go see a movie. Not when I only pay $10 or less for them on DVD. Once it starts playing on a regular screen we'll take them.

Not looking for a lot of emotional depth or plot complexity out of Terminator . . . :leaving:

UP (98%) (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/up/) > Star Trek (95%) (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/star_trek_11/)
Those are the two highest rated major release movies of the year by the way. Star Trek is a great summer popcorn movie, but ultimately forgettable. Up is better.
