Hi Guys, some of you know me and some don't.

I am Jessika. Former owner of the Procharged 2009 MGM Pontiac G8 GT (with the pink calipers). I sold my car recently, but will forever be supercharged.

I work for Supercharger Connection in the valley & a couple of you have asked me to join up here... so here I am. You can find me most Sundays at Supercar Sunday with either my 1.5 year old or a pair of sometimes wild great danes.

We are hosting a short cruise to Motor4Toys and hope you guys will join us!

Welcome aboard. I'll put the show/drive in the Calendar eventually or you can do it yourself if you like.

I drive a '12 VW TDi Sportwagen... 40mpg... and totally ignoring the desire to mod the piss out of it. I promised my husband I would leave it alone.

And blowers dont suck... they blow. I make my living getting guys blown. :)

Do you guys do all kind of SCs? Centrifugal, roots, screws?

I have a CARB legal LSx swap into my C3 Vette. THere is no EO# screw type SC that I'm aware of, but I'm 99% sure at least Procharger had a CARB legal kit for the 2001 F Body (my declared swap make/model/year).

Word. In a perfect world every build would be all motor. But this ksnt a perfect world. It's kommiefornia, where we need boost to make power and pass smog.

Sweet! Looked up on the Sc connection website annnnd they have the Maggie mp112... the only damn bolt on blower for my old gen 1 cts-v... too bad all my money is going to a wedding next year. Maybe the tax returns will be kind in 2014.

BlownG8Girl

Don't say that dammit! Lol if it isn't that would probably be better... I really want to get a set of ls3 heads to throw on the old LS6 when I have the money to do a total bottom up build... the ls3 heads would allow me to put anything I want on there almost.

BlownG8Girl

Yup... that would be a smarter choice. the 112 is probably bound for the history books soon. But, I am pretty sure with a lil modification to the firewall, we could fit a 1900 in there :)

Are there any twin screws with an EO# for a 2001 F-Body?

Pssssh 1900s are for the weak hahaha... by the time I get around to supercharging the V I will have a Ford 8.8 IRS rear, indestructible axles, solid engine and trans mounts, and a fully forged lower end... then the LS3 heads will have a 2.3 on em at a minimum... if I'm gonna spent the money to get it all, I sure as hell ain't gonna bitch out at the end. If I save a little coin and have a few good tax returns, maaaybe that will happen in 2014. But I have to fiscally responsible... which, well, I'm not haha

Going from a 1900 to a 2300 is like baby steps. Lets go F1-D!

I just plan on upgrading my mp112 to a mp122 it should be a cheap and easy upgrade (already have the rest of the motor ready for that kind of new power ) This way I dont have to upgrade my heads and my lower intake.

Why would you want an even bigger POS IRS in your car?

Trust me dude... the 8.8 is WAY better than the shitty getrag unit the general issued us. Guys are snapping the diff case with stock HP output if they do burnouts and stuff... the 8.8 or 9 inch are huge upgrades.

I hope you mean just the pumpkin, because the entire IRS from a mustang is one of the most poorly designedly IRS setups. Falls easily into the shadow of a ctv/vette IRS better off doing an 8.8 SA then an IRS

Ya I understand, But it will be the easiest/cheapest way to get me over 550 hp at the wheel

I'm already at 500 with a leaky blower (I have internal leaks so I don't make more then 5 psi stock should be close to 7) and my options are to spend money to fix the 112 or just upgrade to the 122 and be happy for a few years. Also the motor should be safe to about 9 - 10 (fully forged with a high cr of 10.5:1) the only other upgrade i would have to do is a better fuel pump and maybe a water/meth injection but its not my first choice.

Yep, I'll get 31 spline axles, the iron case and some burly CVs and it should be good, basically its just taking the differential out of a fomoco product and using different bracketry to hook it up.... Google creative steel. They have a kit set up so you can just bolt in the 8.8. The weakness in the cts-v rear end is case deflection when you get wheel hop, from what I understand... some folks have good results with getting some aftermarket axles. But if I have my druthers I would rather build something to not break than build something hoping it won't break. The 9 inch IRS rear is about $2 grand more than the 8.8 rear end kit. So for similar results I'll take the 8.8

So, Jesika, what are the CARB kits available for a 2001 F-Body? Is it just Procharger?
