I am a Ford lover. Those who know me know that I will argue why there next car should be a Ford. I have owned 3 vehicle in my life, all Fords. I like to think I even had some influence on Sean seeing the light after he bought a Bowtie (GM is not bad though) but I digress. Over the past couple of years we have seen the "Big 3" struggle. Sean and I seem to talk a lot about this. Now when we talk we seem to bring up the brand I have such a deep love for... Ford. We talk about how there line-up is great and how they seem to have turn a corner. They have accepted no federal money and sem to be gaining on the competition and in some cases surpassing them. Sean then mentioned Alan Mullay and what a great job he has done to turn the company around. I read this article on him and I must say I was totally impressed with him. To see someone come in and bring in such a simple concept of openess and honesty this day in age is refreshing. When was the last time you went into a meeting and told your boss something was wrong with a project and made them happy?! Those at Ford can say that. This article is a little long but totally worth the read. Maybe we should nominate Mr. Mullaly for president of the USA the next time around!! Read this article (http://money.cnn.com/2009/05/11/news/companies/mulally_ford.fortune/?postversion=2009051103)and you will know why I think this man is awesome.

Guys like Mulally are too smart to want to be President
Great article though - he has done a hell of a job :D
We have 2 Fords now and someday I'd love to add a Bronco to the stable for offroading purposes. I'm just afraid the wife would kill me :sm_laughing:

No, what you are really afraid of is she would drive that car better than you as well.
