You never said what you found broke in the front end. Was it a broken axle? Now we just need to modify your springs to improve the ride. Did you turn the shocks over? I have a set of rear Old Man Emu leaf packs that Phil gave me that we can use instead of the add-a-leaf.

Its kind of funny....
I think it was a combination of things. The main problem was that my front drive shaft became disconnected from the transfer case. I also noticed that the ujoint was sieased. The pinion was also very lose and leaking. (about half an inch of in and out play) thank goodness that it was still is great shape.
So I now have a locked front end and 4wd back! (and put a hell of a lot of locktight on eveything!!)
Yes I swapped the shocks I'll plan on getting some new ones in a month or whenever I swap in the newer rear axle and level the truck.

How much would you want for the old man emu packs? Also do you think you could help with the repack of the leafs? Never done it and not 100% on the theory behind it.

I don't want anything for them. Did you measure the rear packs to see if they are 2 3/4 inches wide like the fronts are? I could come over tomorrow and we can modify your packs.

My rear springs are 2 3/8 wide my fronts are 2 5/8 wide. I know my rear are longer then the fronts (47 inches i think.....The internet people say 44 but i don't know if i believe them.)

Much much better.
On road it is about the same as before.
Off road it is like night and day. now i don't fear dirt roads and ruts.
THANK YOU very much RON!

You're welcome. Now get the bushings and inserts, reinforce the front crossmember, install some pinion angle shims and get the Bilsteins. That should cure your bumpsteer issue.
