So since we moved into our new place there has been a satellite dish leftover from the previous owner. I had been saying I was going to take it down for months. This week I haven't been feeling so hot, but yesterday afternoon I decided to tackle it. My understanding of our current setup was that our cable now comes through the front of the house and all the stuff on the side was just leftover from DISH. So I took down the satellite and cut all the cables associated with it. Big mistake. It turns out that the cable company had actually used one of the existing lines and I cut off all the internet and the TV to the second story :bang:
In my limited defense, it even took the cable guy about 10 minutes to figure out what was going on. He said the wiring to our place is strange and that I wasn't a complete idiot :nutkick::rolling::surrender:
So, that's the story of my 24 hour internet vacation. Anything interesting happen while I was gone?
