Why did it take so long to get someone to agree?

Age, not having children, not being married etc. Whats more frustrating is i went through their therapy sessions and waiting periods and they still said no afterwards.

Depends entirely on the trail and how picky you are about not getting scratched up.

I won't be wheeling until I get a transfer case. I already pulled the AWD one out so the truck isn't even driveable. When I get it done I'll let you guys know and maybe when can get something scheduled. I know tons of trails but none south of me.

It has a horrible knock right now. I just hope it can make it up there to pick up my engine and make it back. I just put fresh oil into it and it didnt help at all. The old oil was, well, black after only 2k miles.

Not so worried about it getting scratched a little worried about breaking it though. It is just a dune tow truck not a daily driver. It makes Home Depot and Auto parts runs but that is about it.

You won't break it unless you drive like Ron or Phil. Then it's 50/50.

Thats what I'm thinking or maybe a bad relay since I can't even hear the motor turn on .
I'd rather it be the gear since the relays cost a few hundered bucks

I would love to try that but it's tough when you have no space to work and to get to the motor you have to remove the radiator and fan assemblies:(

A) We used to pull 40-50 cars when we were promoting regularly. I've only just picked up promoting where Sean left off maybe six months + ago. We would have had 14 there last night except the second group showed up kinda late.
B) People aren't exactly showing up in droves to cruises either, the flake factor is fairly high regardless
C) Most responded positively to alternating Cruise/Meet, primarily for economic reasons.
I'll stick to the schedule for 2012 and monitor what people really do and adjust for 2013 accordingly.

With the other Adam, who just forgot, John who was in NM, Redondo who has been slightly MIA (but attends virtually everything), Ray who was without wheels, the 10+ cars from the Mustang grou who did show up, and Guy, who's balls were on fire, we easily have 20+ now for Nick's. It's just a small timing issue. I want to see it packed out by the Fall. If it's always meager, I'll probably ditch or substantially reduce for next year.

I understand the reasoning, but we're entering prime cruising territory right now with the Spring weather. It's not cold or rainy like winter nor so hot it's uncomfortable to cruise like summer. I'd like to see a big cruise like ACH (w/ or w/o Little T), Palomar, etc to kick off the spring.

Our own Tour d' Orange is April and ACH is June (and it's awesome up at altitude in June).
