For anyone with a passing interest in motorsport, particular Formula One, or the story of what a driven and beautiful life filled with absolute passion and focus, if ultimately short and tragic looks like, I recommend this documentary.

I’ve got this movie on my Netflix queue & have watched it five times. It’s not only about the rise & fall of Ayrton Senna, one of the finest Formula One drivers ever, it’s also an historical account of the comparatively modern F1 as we know it. I follow F1 closely but never knew about the political bullshit that goes on behind the scenes. I don't know, maybe things have changed since Ayrton’s time. (I hope so) Even though I’m saddened after watching it, I still love this movie.

Agreed; either him or Jenson Button because Sebastian Vettel is getting on my nerves. Watch Michael Schumacher get a really good car this year & start winning endlessly again. :sm_laughing:

Except for the earliest days perhaps, it was always fairly political as all big dollar sports are, but a little worse because the rules themselves are many, changing, and subject to interpretation as part of the sport.
