Keep in mind: Dependent upon how many people show up, we’re almost assured of getting separated. Therefore, we don’t necessarily have to do this run. blackax made the suggestion during the meeting at Nick’s that Ortega would be fun. Even though I just did it, I’d go again. (one of my favs) One of the only reasons I thought that The Tour d‘Orange might be an option is because it could be done with just about any vehicle, rain or shine. Plus, it was kinda fun between the stop lights.

I don’t know “The District” but I think there’s a bunch of eating places there. In & Out isn’t my favorite but in a pinch… Maybe someone who knows that area better than me can chime in. Also, it’s not set in stone that we end the cruise there. I’ll always favor a better idea.

Yes it can be done rain or shine whereas Ortega Hwy. can’t but Ortega is more appealing, regardless of numbers, and has a better ending. We’ll probably have some discussion about exactly where at The District to end this. When we did it in January we ended the tour at In-N-Out burger; neither The District nor In-N-Out are among my favorites but so what. This drive was so enjoyable I wouldn’t care if I arrived at the parking lot upside down. Well, maybe a little but you get the idea. Providing some numbers get generated, this should be a good one.

Just a precautionary tip for everyone: If you have a GPS unit that you can plot a course on I’d highly recommend doing so because the group is guaranteed to get split-up due to all of the traffic signals and stuff.

I was reviewing the route and even though it is a little late I thought this would be a better route. the 133 to Irvine Blvd does not add anything to the cruise and bring about more opportunity to get separate as does the Jamboree to Portola to Jeffery. Here it s a better route (http://g.co/maps/3yu5w), IMHO. Simplified and shorter. If we stick to the original route I do note have a problem with it though.

Great. I was actually thinking this was tomorrow. Gives me time to change out my steering column bearing, front shocks, sway bar bushings in time for the cruise. Gonna be a busy day tomorrow.

Thanks for your consideration, but I'm gonna keep the route as is this time. Stability is a higher goal and the route has been on 35 sites for almost a month. I'll keep this alternate in mind for the next time we do this.

No stop lights and freeway speeds on 133. El Toro rd traffic sucks.

Yeah, my bad, I didn't realize it was quite that spread out. The route is good, next time we'll set the end point for the Lowe's Like most of us ended up.

Thanks for putting out the word. That's the most S2Ks and Skittles we've had on a run.

I started going through about an hour of video last night. There's some other stuff I need to clear first, but I'll certainly have it done within this week.
