My name is Sean.
I drive a car.
The car is a 1995 Taurus SHO.
The SHO is modded for cornering.
It goes vroom.

I saw SeanPlunk at Autozone here in Yorba Linda just now in Lee (?)'s yellow Mach. Reminded me that I should get more active with this forum :).

Sweet man! Welcome.

Hmm....I wonder what Plunkett and Tomps needed. I'm guessing oil and a filter for the truck. Guess I'll find out in a few :) See you around

LOL, I was looking for you but you weren't in Autozone. How is your car running - is it all fixed? Sir_Riccus helped me fix my intercooler pump today so the Cobra is back up and running

I haven't changed a thing, and it seems to be doing well. I was out for a Sunday afternoon cruise, and just dropped by the 711 for a slurpee :).

Where do you guys live? I'm over by Esperanza High.

We live off of Imperial by Canyon High School. I would say at this point I'm also up at Autozone once a weekend, LOL.

I think I have the Cobra in much better race form than the last time I went. Leedom and I re-adjusted the clutch a couple weeks ago and it's made a HUGE difference. It was so tight that it was hard to get into 1st and Reverse sometimes and may explain some of my bad shifts. We've also replaced the stock blower belt with a much better one and the slip problem has be cured. I think with a good pair of sticky tires and some ice I would have much better luck

Internet excuses...love them. I myself absolutely suck at drag racing, and have the wrong car for it. Top end and twisties tho...

Hey all, I'm still alive. Been real busy with work at what not....and modding the SHO a little more. I have full exhaust now and I won't pass smog :).

Welcome back. What exactly did you do to the exhaust? Remove cats? no mufflers? do tell!

Welcome back. What exactly did you do to the exhaust? Remove cats? no mufflers? do tell!

I bought an old SHOShop y-pipe, and catback. The cats were gutted, and since I can't afford cats at the moment, I just left them that way. So now, I have 2.25" pipe coming from the manifolds, going into a 2.5" catback, with magnaflows. Makes a nice rumble at idle, and after it warms up, it sounds great at WOT.

Here it is at idle:
