Yeah! For the first time in almost a decade I finally got a decent stereo in a car. I just got 3 Rockford Fosgate P1 12" subs with a RF amp installed in the cab of my F350. It sound great. I have new door speakers that I will install when I have a chance. I bought some pioneer 6x8 3 way speakers that are 80 watts RMS and a smaller RF amp for the door speakers.

Is starting to build a pretty steep to do list.
-Install Fast LSXR and Throttle body on the vette and get it tuned
-New tires for the vette and fix tire pressure monitoring sensor
-Install EGR delete kit on truck (then buy programmer)
-Fix corvette exhuast
-lower corner balance vette
-Install front air damm and splinter on corvette.

Nice, i cant wait to install the stereo in the fox, i took it out of my dually and never put it back into my new truck, alpine 1000w mono, RF HX15, blah blah blah

When you're ready for a programmer and any diesel parts really call my buddy Raul, he's the owner of www.stealth-automotive.com tell him Guy sent you and he'll hook you up.

Wow, 3 12's in a small cab must hit really hard. My wife is way into music so I have systems in all the cars except of course the Chevelle.

It hits pretty hard. It was overkill. I was drinking with my credit card while I was waiting for the truck to get delivered and made some bad decisions. Really a ten or twelve would have been fine. The box doesn't have enough air space for the twelves.

pretty much ready for a programmer now. I have the egress delete kit that I need to install and want to turn up the wick the same time that I clear the engine code.

One of the reasons I went off the juice (credit cards.) :smack:

Better get head studs too, or you'll be changing the head gaskets shortly

What's the going rate on getting the head studs installed? I've seen the ARPs for ~$450 which is about what I paid for the studs on the LS2, but I dont want to wait until december when I actually have time to do it.

You can make them work. You just need some good sounding mid/highs to balance it out. I'm running a single ten in the Cobra and in the Explorer and dual tens in the Suburban. For mid/highs I have four 6x8 Infinity Kappas in the Cobra, four 6.5 Infinity Kappas and two Alpine Type S 4x10s in the Suburban and 4 6x8 Infinity Reference in the Explorer. Of all mine I think the Suburban sounds the best.

You're fine, at one point in my 89 f150 i had 2 HX15's in a 5cf box, hit so hard it blew out the seal around the back window and made me throw up from a low sine sweep note.
