No...

He really wasn't.

That was a slow run in a car he hasn't had for a real long time.

I'm not sure he is entirely all together sometimes but he is seriously fast up there.

Well he was on the side of the road with two sheriffs looking not too happy with him so he was going pretty fast. Also he was about 10-15 min ahead of the main group, and 5-7 min ahead of the push group.

The sad part is that's slow for him. You should see him at night :sm_up_there:

In the video I think he slowed down for Ben and I on the sided of the road.

I'm sort of a fan of how he didn't try to hit me . . . . george. :judge:

Just a side note. Judging REAL speed, that is elapsed time around a given circuit, by eye and ear, is VERY deceptive. Unless there's timing and scoring, I don't pay much attention.

HOWEVER, he was minutes ahead of the next fastest group and was going at least as fast as anyone else out there. I wonder if he knows Carlos (a.k.a., BADDASSC6). Carlos is the best road racer I know personally and his C6 is sick, fix'n to get sicker.

He goes balls out on GMR in the middle of the night at least once a week. He's known to be a bit of a shifty character in the miata community though.

Erik is a good guy, GMR to him is Turnbull to me, once you've done it a billion times you know where t go to go fast.
