He actually let me drive it. It's way COOL!!!
We're going to Donuts Derelick's on Sat morning. His cool Pantera and my ugly Vette:sm_laughing:.
We'll be there about 5 to 5:30 am. Meeting at my shop about 5 AM.
The more the better. :ugh:
Hope some of you show up---it's been awhile.

I'd SERIOUSLY love to be there. But roughly 4:00am is my bed time so I don't know how well that'd work. . . But if I'd do it for anyone, it'd be you.
And Ray, pics, stat.

Pic's and states coming. It's a 1974 Pantera "L". It has the ZF trans axle, 351 Cleveland 4bl with 8:1 cr about 260 hp. BUT--Ray and I have some plans to get around 450 hp.
Try and go. Ray's pantera is so coool.
You'll be home by 8 am.
I miss seeing you guys---and Ben too.:smack:

Exactly how big is that pic. I think I have our limit set at 5MB, which is pretty big.

I definitely want to see this thing in person, but I'll be working all night and for the next few days, so no chance I'll be there for Doughnut Derelicts this time. I want to go there too some day.
Ray, bring it to the June cruise. It ain't gonna be no garage queen is it?

I had a buddy who was a Pantera mechanic in the late '70's. I drove one around the block and found the driving position a little wierd. Pedals were close to the feet and the steering wheel was angled and away. I recall one he was race preping and was gutted with a roll cage. The engine was stroked to 400ci and had a tunnel ram with dual quads. I went overseas and lost track of him and never saw the car completed.

I drove Ray's Pantera. The pedals were a little close together but not a problem. I have a size 12 foot. :p
Driving it was a blast. It's a well mannered vehicle.

What no "Vette" pictures. So that's the way it's going to be.:boggled:
What got me about the place was there were so MANY different types of vehicles. It was a great time.
Darlene's quote of the day.
Some Dude:
"You sitting there holding up the car?"
Darlene:
"No, I'm resting my Tits.":smack:
