I saw that on a plane coming back from Milwaukee. I was worried because I saw the original at a drive-in back when it first came out, a nearly perfect cinematic experience. But it did not disappoint at all. The style was astoundingly self-consistent and logically derived from the original. The story even flowed out of the original in a reasonable way. Dope.

As for sound tracks I could go off a bit, so I'll just mention one I thought Sean might have included but didn't.
