My personal favorite part is where your warranty is void if you put the car on a dyno :sm_up_there:
I also love how you have to have the transmission inspected at 1k miles and every year after to keep your warranty :surrender:

No f*ing way!
<< You are reminded to drive safely and obey all traffic laws.
<< Racing, competitive driving of any sort and/or any use on a track or airstrip, [yeah, why would you do such a thing with a high performance car anyway . . .]
. . .
. . .
. . .
<< The GT-R will continue to offer supercar characteristics of exceptional handling, maneuvering, and overall driving experience.
Seriously? I really wanted this car to be everything the hype promised. It's becoming kind of a chuckle.

It's a cool car, no doubt, but given the choice a C6 Z06 is a far better option.

Why can't all stick cars have this? It would make my stick driving experience so much more worth it! F-n cobra. JK - I still love you.
"This vehicle is equipped with hill start assist. This system automatically keeps the brakes applied to help prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards in the time it takes to release the brake pedal and apply the accelerator pedal when the vehicle is stopped on a hill. Hill start assist is designed to hold the vehicle for only a short period of time and is not a substitute for proper driving technique."

I thought that was the whole purpose for the GT-R. It was made for people who can't drive a performance car without help.

Nissan GT-R: The Supercar for Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere
Just don't drive it like a Supercar or your warranty is void.

What a bunch of crap. This car is hyped by everyone. The car is impressive yes, but if you can not actually drive it then what is the point? So you can tell your buddies you have one? I would rather spend a little more coin and get a ZR1 and be able to drive it. GT-R (Get For Racing?), they should call it a NF-R, Not For Racing!! :nutkick:

I know that I probably don't need to reply to this since everyone know how I feel about this car:barf:.
But this is awesome:bigthumbsup:.
By the way a base z51 corvette with similar tires to what come on the GT-R and a mid-level driver will RAPE a GT-R! ANY COURSE:mad: ANY TIME:mad:

I still think the GT-R is a great car - I just wish it wasn't so fragile :suicide:

The only reason you like it is because it's the only 11 second car that YOU can actually run an 11 in. All other 11 seconds cars in your hands will be 12-13 second cars.

I would line out shit like that before I signed any paperwork. And I'm sure the commissioned salesman would give in if you refused to buy the car otherwise.
I liked the GTR till I heard about the trans problems. A car is only as good as its tech support, and $18K for a new trans that was defective in the first place is not acceptable.
That car needs a manual trans, and if they can't get it right they need to contract Subaru or Mitsubishi to make their transmissions. If I had enough money to start my own hot rod shop I'd buy SRT8s and GTRs and throw manual transmissions in therm, turn around and sell em.
