It does leave residue. It's just really faint and light, it shows up a day or two after application. It'll probably come off with a wash.

...But it's still better than doing all the work with normal paste wax!

I would never touch anything with the word Amorall in it. There products are utter crap by far the worst of the all the crap you can buy over the counter. If you want to treat your car right go with something like Adams Polishes but be prepared to open the check book.

In a pinch I have used Meguiar’s NXT Generation which does not do too bad of a job.

Why is it I always hear bad things about Armorall? What is so bad about it?

I'ts greasy, smeary and slings all over the place. It is dimethyl silicone oil too. This is a rubber degradant. The worst effects are seen when you STOP using it. It turns tires brown and dries out vinyl dashes causing them to possibly crack over time. They also don't have the higher concentrations of UV inhibitors that 303 Protectant and others do, but that's 1 reason they cost more than Armor All. UV additives are the most expensive ingredients, arguably, in those products, so you get what you pay for to that extent.

There is a little expression of you get what you pay for....:pot_stir:

303s interior protectant stuff is the shit. I used a sample sqautch over 2 years ago and still looks like that day I applied it. For waxes, washes and other care products I use stuff with no detergents, believe it or not granitize makes some of the best products out there. But wax I will ONLY use harley wax, its a pure brick of caranuba, no cleaners, no speed additives. It hazes terribly, then buff to a high shine with a thick hard surface, fills in lots of scratches too.
