I never understood "money doesn't make happiness". I do know for a fact that if you don't have money, you're not very happy at all.

You either enjoy life or you don't. How much money you have has little to do with your outlook on it.

You need a certain amount of money to cover the basic necessities of life up to a reasonable level, but frankly that's far more modest than most people tend to think they need IMO. Obviously missing meals, freezing, etc., is not fun, and can send you into depression. Beyond that, your enjoyment of life comes from very different things. If you think it's money you're missing and chase it, you won't be happy even if you get it. IF you've got your life squared away and you're enjoying it for the right reasons though, more money makes more things possible and therefore more gooder.

True quote, but Ford doesn't make a Corvette. And I fear the GT40 will always be out of my price range.

Haha yes..."yet". I have no kids on the way but plan and want to have kids in the future once I'm married. I'm pretty financially sound already, just need to get my house going and then things will be even more fun!

In the future you'll be able to get lap dances and hand jobs at Starbucks. It was in a documentary called "Idiocracy".

I like kitschy B sorta movies, so it worked just fine for me. I think the goofiness underscores the stupidity quite nicely. I also love Team America : World Police, and many others.

Money makes me happy. Kids? I think its about what you do with it. "A fool and his money are soon parted." Or something like that.
