Sorry you’re under the weather Sean. I was so sick once that I almost died. A doctor friend of mine, who just happened to pay me a visit, ran an IV for me while he made preparations to admit me to U.C.I. in Orange. I used three bags of saline while I was in my apartment and a further two while at the hospital. I don’t like the taste of Gatorade, but the orange stuff isn’t too bad. Don’t end up like me; stay hydrated. Hope you’re up to speed soon.

I had food poisoning once. I was so sick that I couldn't walk. I made it to the bathroom, on my way back I was so weak and disoriented I fell. I wanted to call 911 but I was too sick to get up and look around my room for my phone. I was too sick to yell out my roommates name. It was so bad I actually, literally, wanted to die. I wanted to stop living, no exaggeration.

By morning I was ok, just very weak. 24 hours later I was totally fine.

You most likely have the flu. Phil's kids had it a couple weeks ago too. Like Redondo Jon said, make sure you drink a lot of fluids but wait one hour after you throw up before drinking or it will just come right back up. Both of my girls have been hospitalized from dehydration caused by the flu.

The way you can tell the difference is that with food poisoning it hurts really badly when you throw up just like Adam said. I've had it once and it was terrible. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm back at work today. I feel pretty weak (no solid food since Sunday), but I'm okay. I drank about 45oz of 7up yesterday so that I wouldn't get dehydrated. I was running a 101 degree temperature for the better part of the day, but that broke around 7 last night and then I felt much better.
