This commercial is pretty damn cool. It is shot at 10000fps. It is from the inside of a combustion chamber on the 4.0L V8 used in the M3. Pretty amazing:

That's cool. Then there's the American way (http://www.motorgen.com/vid/showphoto.php/photo/123/cat/500/ppuser/74) of advertising.

I've always liked this Cadillac Ad (http://www.motorgen.com/vid/showphoto.php/photo/131/cat/500/ppuser/3/sl/v), almost brings a tear to my eye.

Yep. I downloaded it just in case you think you can erase it. One false move and I'll hire CorruptCulture. . .

Does he have any idea how fast your Vette is?? I could tell him.:drive:

He knows . . . because I remind on a regular basis. Though if he gets his Cobra pullied, it could change the dynamic a little. :sm_up_there: If you get a hankering to come out to the track and beat up on some imports (and Sean maybe), we'll be going on the 26th.

Hell, with the old engine my best was in the 11.90s. Until I get this vibration figured out there is no racing for me. I'm really pushing the idea of ANOTHER engine and updates to the drive line or I could just paint it. :sm_up_there:

Hey, found an old picture of the Vette.:leaving:

Know any good paint shops? I may have my panel done again at some point because of how poorly Autobahn did....even with 3 attempts. I don't sound bitter, do I? ;)

Why don't you just have Glenn do it for you? Here's some of his handy work. http://www.motorgen.com/pic/data/618/medium/01myvette.jpg

I'm liking C2s more and more BTW.

Glenn's car definitely has charm  I LOVE C2's. I think if I could have any Vette it would be a 2nd Gen, or a new ZL-1 :judge:

I'd have to agree, C2's are probably my favorite.

Dude, 11.90s! Where and on what tires? I'm not a bad driver, but on street tires the best I can get at Fontana is 13.2@ 111. (Similar cars can run deep into the 12s no sweat at better prepped tracks.)

Anyway, I've found that pushing a car hard is a great, albeit occasionally expensive, method for locating the source of mysterious vibrations.
