I know this is short notice but I want to go out this Sunday. All my Jeep buddies are busy and I don't want to go without another rig.
I'm up for just about any terrain but mud. Calico, Johnson Valley, Big Bear or any other places else are fine with me.

Have you ever been down to deer creek. (its near san diego) It's not wicked but there is some stuff that is fun (i can do about 90% of it in my stock isuzu trooper)

Might i suggest Cleghorn. Just off the 15, about 45mins from Orange County. Fun trail with enough offshoots to test your truck(s)

They closed all the offshoots on Cleghorn. You should have posted this sooner. Throttle Crazy and I just got back from running Siverwood into Deep Creek and then to John Bull. It was really hard this time because there was snow once we started getting higher on Deep Creek. We did John Bull in the dark and the whole trail was snow covered. It was a blast.

I'll have to look it up, I've never heard of it. If I can't find anyone to go with, this sounds like a good place to run solo.

Oh man, that was just a matter of time though. Last time I was up there (after a big snow fall last year) there were so many jackasses doing stupid things.

That sounds like a blast and a really, really long day. I've only done John Bull once and my Jeep has come a long way since then, I'd love to do it again. It sounds like you ran it the opposite way that I did which would have been cool to do.
