Yeah, what part of dangerous red necks did they not understand? This is what happens when people think things are exaggerated when they're not. If you just go on through and take care of your business, they'll leave you alone. If you take a piss, to use a British expression, who know what'll happen.

Oh, and don't kid yourself, there are some damn rough areas in the UK, possibly worse, to say nothing of some inner cities in the US.

I saw that episode and thought it was stupid. You would get the same or worse reaction with "soccer sucks" in London or "Manchester United Sucks" in Manchester. Give me a break.

They wouldn't run you off like those nice polite southerners. They'd beat the FU*K out of you. Other than the gentlemenly bunch, the Brits are a frankly pretty violent lot. Though nobody quite compares to the Scots, who are the world's foremost experts in drink'n and fight'n. We're rank amateurs.
