Anyone in the world that is alive presently. Who would you wanna throw a couple back with and just have a good time with? Not an interview, not sex or anything else... just hanging out.

It's tough, but I'd have to go with Dave Grohl. Every interview, video or article I've seen on him just cracks me up. He seems like an awesome guy.

Check out this video of him on Loveline a few weeks ago.

Great question. It's a three way tie between Will Ferrel, Bill Murray, and George Bush. They're all comedians in their own way.

If it were a serious hang, not just kick back time, I'd have to say Thomas Sowell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Sowell); the greatest thinker in modern socio-economic politics . . . bar none IMO. The Quest for Cosmic Justice and Economic Facts and Fallacies should be required reading in High School.

If it were extended to dead guys, I'd have to put Frank Zappa way up there.

Dead: Andrew Jackson, alive: Steve-O.

If Andrew Jackson were alive today, he would march into the White House, slap Bush in the face with his gloves and challenge him to a duel.

Steve-O is just a funny guy, and I'd love to hear some of his stories. There's probably someone I'd pick over him if I could think, but I'm tired.

Dude, as cool as I thought Steve-O used to be... I saw this video and lost all respect for him. He's so burnt out.

impossible for me to pick one...yeah nothing like getting drunk and talking about socio-economic politics haha. As for me I think it'd be one of these guys...

Paul McCartney
Noel Gallagher
Steve Nash
Bill Clinton

In no particular order and I could go on forever. All these guys seemingly are bad asses in my opinoin and would all have interesting stories.

You guys are all gay!!! I would actually want to drink with a chick, who knows, she might get naked. Nobody said anything about not getting naked.

I would want to knock some back with my ex wife at the top of a long, steep stairway. She would drink way more than me and I would not be there to hold her up so this time she would fall down the stairs. Problem solved! Can I get an AMEN!!!!

Does it seem like I have a little pent up anger? ...no, can't be.

Why would you guys want to waste time drinking beer with a chick? I could think of other things I'd rather do with a chick.

There are rules to this question regarding the nature of the time spent.

Wait a minute. . . http://www.phillyd.tv/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/billclintonpresident.jpg

In addition to such great legal pontifications as "depends on what your definition of the word is is," our 42nd President has made vague what sex is (http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1998/08/17/time/clinton.html) too. This could have a dramatic impact on my answer. Although, I'm pretty sure of what my wife thinks sex is, which seems to be a rather broader definition.

Warren Buffett
Alan Greenspan
Tiger Woods

I'm sure I'll think of others over time, but those would be a couple more good possibilities.

Since we're violating most terms of this question, I'll ad a recently deceased person; maybe there could be a 30 day grace period.

Because Ron Jeremy is a disgusting human being, and Tiger Woods is actually pretty cool.

Nolan Ryan would be an interesting guy. I love the video where Robin Ventura charges the mound, and Ryan puts him in a headlock and starts punching him in the face - good times. Video of that can be found here (http://ballhype.com/video/nolan_ryan_vs_robin_ventura_1993/)

You know, I wouldn't mind chatting with Gwen Stefani some time. She seems like quite an interesting person. For some of us here, she's a very local girl.

Better check with Gavin Rossdale first, if we're doing pop singers now (pun intended) I would want to hang out with Alanis Morissette. I have a crush on her.

I meant it when I said "chat with". It seems she occasionally goes to Mexicasa on Lincoln in Anaheim. Strangely, I've been going there for years. Maybe we could cool it over a combo. I don't have anything so particular to ask her, though I'm curious about her connections to Japanese pop-culture. (Spider web video, Great Escape, etc.)

Holy fu*k! How could I overlook this one?

BJORK
http://motorgen.com/pic/data/500/bjork.jpg

Let me put Bjork into my perspective for you. The album "Vespertine" is one of my top five albums to go to a desert island with. For me, this puts her into the same league as Hendrix's "Electric Ladyland".

As for people who are genuinely creative, yet somehow commercially successful, she is simply on her own level . . . bar none . . . period.

Someday I'll cut a video of my Vette to Vokuru.
