Are you going to heckle them?
Speaking of top gear and krautmobiles, just watched the episode where Hammond compared a Merc E63 AMG . . . to a Camaro, calling it a "muscle car." Sometimes they're retarded.

lol, well you have to admit the 63s make a retardedly awesome sound
but yeah... lol compairing a 100K 4 door sedan to a Camaro SS is quite ammusing

I think this should be a pretty dope experience. I'm signing up for later dates, if any are available with the next couple weeks or so. Irvine isn't too far from Anaheim.

that or they are opening up a larger standing area
From people who have gone earlier in the week, they only let in 60-70 people where as roughly 120 show up

My nephew and I got their early yesterday, 6:30 am. We had a lot of fun although I never clapped so much in my life. I did notice that the girl with the store bought tits and other very pretty girls that were dressed tastefully were placed in the front (no surprise there). I am looking forward to watching the finished product.

Hi Bob,
wondering if they had coffee/donuts in the am?

They had pretzels and coffee Sunday morning
In all i really think this will be a good show. I am a huge Top Gear UK fan and Adam, Tanner & Rutledge have good chemistry (very Clarkson, Hammond, May esk).
They were genuinely car nuts like the rest of us. This was apparent during breaks and inbetween screwups when they talked and joked numerous times with the crowd. Hell Tanner was even giving drifting advice to the kid next to me for a good 5 minutes when they were exchanging cars & I had a nice talk with Rutledge about the Boss 302 [Lagune Seca Edition] Mustang they were featuring during part of our day

What did your friend look like?
We were there the second day of shooting and they said that the first day there weren't any girls so they were glad that our group had quite a few girls.

I was there last night from 1pm to 7pm...on my feet the whole time. The show itself will be ok but not great. They seem to be copying some of the stuff the british show does which will set them up for comparisons, and they will come short. Still they had had some cool pre-filmed stuff that looks good but I guess you'll have to wait for everything to be edited and put together to judge the show. As for being there in the audience, I'll never do it again, at least not for free. 6 hours standing with no water or snacks available. I asked for water, since all the production people had some, they said they'd bring me some and then the girl disappeared for the rest of the taping. I just wanted to get the hell out of there towards the end. Michelle Rodriguez was the guest but she dont look that great in person and she is pretty small. Anyway, it was ok to go once for the experience but I learned my lesson. The show should be decent but unless it develops its own identity it might suffer in ratings. I guess we gotta wait till it airs to see.
P.S. Go if you aint working or if you get paid days off. DONT WASTE A NON-PAID DAY OFF. Trust me.

I agree with C5 on the, not doing that again. It was a long morning.
We got there at 7am and where #35-36. After we went past security they had a tent area with 6 rows of seats to fill out the non disclosure forms. The girl was telling us to fill the seats at the far end of row 4. As the other gal starts letting in the people in row # 1. WTH? we asked her and she said "what # are you?" The gall at the other end did not know what was up. All the people in rows 3-4-5- should have been put in row #1. It was too late to fix it because 2 rows had already been let in. Got placed #150 instead of 35. After first set change, didn't matter so much. Ended up in front row next segment. They had a conversation with the guy next to me in one part so should see some screen time.
6 hours on my feet ( I wore my boots, to be taller) ...no cell phones allowed, so no idea what time it was (told my boss would be in around lunchtime).
We where going to bailout next time they opened the doors to switch the set.
I might do it again if I can get a Sunday ticket. And more comfy shoes!

^^
I saw you driving away as I walked in, unless someone else has a red/white camaro with 73 on the lp. Lol. Same here, I was like #200 and as soon as I sat down they called my row in and the people that had been there a while got mad. Oh well. But c'mon, no water or snacks? That sucked.

Did you see yourself? We need a spotters guide for members :lmfao:
My bald mug might be hard to miss...they interviewed the guy standing next to me, during the " news " segment...making fun of his Buick. I just don't know when it will air.

I was on this one and I'll be on the next one as well. I'm on the "catwalk" on the right side. I'm on the stairs, I'm the guy in the middle. You will see me when they interview Buzz, im in the blue shirt. The next one will be good.

The Lambo episode was pretty cool. I never mind seeing top speed challenges. The Viper vs. Cobra helicopter was intresting too but the show still needs to lack a bit of substance.
