Now why can Ford not step up and bring these things to the US to compete with the other "tuners". I know some might argue that the car might compete with the Mustang but come on. Bring these to the US!!!!!

Enthusiasts have been begging for YEARS to bring this to the States. They are very popular and loved in Europe, especially the UK where they almost think of Ford as an English company. But alas, the bean counters here never thought they'd be popular enough to fetch the higher price. There were some plans to bring out a sporty Fiesta, but they got shelved til at least 2012. By the time the government is through, we'll all be riding electric scooters.

I think it's funny that the ricer famous Mitsubishi Eclipse has a Chrysler engine in it, the 420A, same engine that's in my Neon.

it really is a shame this car is never gonna come to the states, and also your never gonna see one period sense anyone who has the money to import or try to bring it over here piece by piece and register it as a kit car would rather use the money on a skyline or use there money and get a vee dub.

Ya, haha. The GSX and GST use Mitsu motors I'm sure you know, but the RS is a good ol yankee rams horn motor.
Funny thing, the eclipse in the first fast and the furious made all kinds of crazy turbo and blow off valve noises. And when they pop they hood that geeky kid says "It's got a T66 Turbo Dominic, and a..." But as soon as they pop the hood you can see the turbo-less header on the Chrysler motor! Hahahahaha.
That thing was prob slower than my Neon becuase the Eclipse is heavier.

And I've installed an after-market Hahn turbo kit on a 420A. The turbo sits at the height of the exhaust ports, no way is it down there in the one inch space between the starter and the radiator.
