Some guy on one of the Camaro boards managed to get 2 pre-production models - one is a V6 and one is a V8. Here are the pictures:

Nice, its crazy based on chevys site the V6 has 300hp!? Thas almost as much as the mustang GT!! and its cheap!

Looking at this vs the mustang and even the genesis...the camaro looks like a great value, even the V6 should be pretty fun to drive and relatively quick for 23k or so

As longs as they aren't suckling off the teet of public money, I'd certainly consider a Ford the next time I need to buy a car. Though the way CA is run, I don't think I'll buy a new car maybe ever again.

You are NEVER going to buy a new car?? I find that hard to believe. I've been pushing the idea around for a year. But, since I'm completely broke now with Darlene not working, I've had to shelve the plans for now.

Ford was/is FIRST on my list. What a surprise.:rolleyes2:

I'm not a big fan of forking over ever more of my money to the state. In CA they just substantially increased sales tax and registration fees, adding something like $400+ dollars to the price of the average car. If CA gets its way and can make its own green house gas emissions restrictions, you can bump that by another $1,400~.

But never say never. If I'm a baller someday, I'll buy a new car. Maybe an Aston Martin or something.
