(sorry for the long story)
So Shannon and I went to see The Last Airbender tonight (not the greatest flick, but I am a simple man and did not think it was too bad) and we find our seats after the teenagers behind us pull their feet from the backs of them after we sit down. The previews and so forth come on and the kids are commenting on everything on screen. I was like crap here we go. After about 3 previews Shannon says shut up while looking forward. I thought they would get the hint, oh boy was I wrong. So the movie is starting and they are still talking. I was pissed and so I turn and say in my "stern voice"... Why don't you respect the other people watching the movie and shut up! Kid says sorry and the guy in front of me turns around and says thank you. It was at that moment that I realized I was an adult. I remembered adults saying stuff like that when I was a kid. Not only were the kids aggravating me because they were talking, but they destroyed my little delusion of not being an adult. Bastards!
