Lets not get crazy. Those things are pretty cool. I wonder how long it would take before they get annoying?

How does this help people get better at being a mechanic?? Any idiot can work on a car if someone holds your hand.

Adam, you didn't find that annoying already? Pretty cool still. Although I doubt techs would wear them unless it was something new and unfamiliar.

Augmented reality for teaching offers at least 3 applications you can see here.

1 - training of techs in the first place
2 - assistance to techs in cases where they are not familiar
3 - Eventually, home mechanic use. This would have saved me a lot of time on more than one occasion.

Simply it's a use of technology to save labor (time/efficiency) and the principle is great.
