Red Circle of Death!

e have two Xbox 360s in my pad. Now both of them have the red circle of death.:bang:

It's actually the RROD (Red Ring of Death). Mine has died on my too. My brother's has gone down 2x. Everyone I know has had at least 1 or 2 die on them. Horrible design.

It was free and took about two weeks. It was still under warranty. The first 2x times for my brother it was free too. The last time they wanted $100. My brother went on the internet and fixed it himself. The fix lasted 6 months and then it died. He just bought another one at that point.

Sent it in for repair, good for two years then died again. Bought a new black 360 and so far it's ok, a year +. I have found that a small fan is good to have aimed and running at the box when in use.

It happened to me about a year of owening it. Got it fixed and it seems fine now. If you have bought your 360 in the last 18 months it has a different mobo and runs much cooler so it shouldn't red ring

Mine died twice. Microsoft fixed it -cost nothing with it out of warranty too- both times and gave me a 3 year warranty on top of that.:nuts:
