View Full Version : Mustang Fuel upgrade cheap!

So I was on Mach1registry.com and saw this post so I though maybe some of the mustang guys on here might like to see this too. When boosting the '99 to '04 NA mustangs it is nice if you can get your hands on a Cobra tank and pumps as they can handle the extra HP. You can usually find used set-ups for $350 to $400. this one is brand new for $330. Summit Racing has this listed for $794!!

I just ordered mine even though I am a year away from blower.

Do you have the returnless fuel system, is that why you have to change it? For mine, all I needed was a Walbro 255 pump.

I believe both setups are returnless. The difference is that the Cobra fuel tank is sumped. With a boost a pump it's good for up to 600ish whp.

LMR had the shipping dates pushed back to August but mine shipped out today!!!

Got the dreaded call from LMR today. What they were selling turned out to be just the tanks and no fuel pumps. They repeatedly talked to Ford Racing and were assured that the item had the pumps as well but when they got the stock and opened one up after shipping some out they found that it was just a tank. Damn it!!!! I guess I go used.
