Just bought a knocklite, going to try and use it with a C4 knock sensor from a roller motor. It's also a shift light. I'm excited, that much closer to being a fully independent tuner. :D

I think the Knocklite was geared towards little rice rocket tinker toy engines. When I first hooked it up it told me that I had severe detonation at idle with 10 degrees base timing.

I've moved the sensitivity down to 40 out of 50, 50 is the least sensitive, and it still told me that I had detonation at 5K rpm with only 28 degrees total. I'll move the sensitivity down to 50 tomorrow. It just takes so damn long to adjust. You have to wait for the light to blink 40 times, then 41 times, then 42 times... Ugh.

Well now I'm locked in at 14 base, 32 total. Probably not the best for max hp, but still better than where I was at. Cambria is ready for the dyno tomorrow.

You're lucky I still have my grandma tune, or I'd so kick your nuts in with my NA 346 . . . well, maybe not.
