Alright well i went to irwindale tonight to track my car so the woman gets off my back about it, the engine is all stock minus long tubes, and has the full MM catalog on it, best run of the night was a 1.986 60', 8.9 at 78.80, car was spinning pretty badly off the line that run but i know its 8.6 capable, but since im really not into drag racing i dont mind and am overall very happy with how the car ran tonight, lemme know what y'all think

That would be mid 13s right? Pretty good for a stock 5 o.

That is good for upper-mid 13's. I have run a few 8.8's that ended up 13.6's but I was at 80.6MPH.

That's good for a stock 5.0. I wouldn't have guessed that it would be able to run that time. 1.9 is a decent 60' time too. I haven't gotten the vette down there yet.

What tires were you running? Do you have adjustable front struts?

BTW, You can do a lot of stuff with timeslips on Motorgen.
Check it out (http://motorgen.com/forum/showthread.php?t=190). We'll be working on making it nicer over the summer.

:iagree:
I beat a 95 GT when the Vette was basically stock and stock C3s are in the 14s.

Those are sticky tires but they have stiff sidewalls. They won't take much of a shock on a hard launch and will spin so that is going to hurt your 60ft. Also, the Bilsteins are firm and with a 500lb coil you are not going to get any weight transfer which is also going to slow your 60ft. So considering those a 1.9 is really good. Just don't expect to pull that same 1.9 at Fontana if you ever decide to run a 1/4.

yeah im aware, i dont ever plan to run anything close at fontana to what i run at irwindale, also remember im running a TA with an adjustable swaybar so i know there are lower 60's just gotta drop the air pressure and tighten the rear bar, but thats if i ever run it again drag racing
