Boat, prob gonna do the pattern like this. The bottom will be a dark metallic graphite (thanks to kameleon gt) and the top color will be either a pearl yellow or a pearl burgundy. And the graphite from the bottom will overlay the top color in the pattern.
I'll probably paint this over the summer.

Any pictures of the burgundy? What color interior would you use with them?

Light gray vinyl interior, gray carpet, no specific ideas on the burgundy. Feel free to make suggestions.

That's not my actual boat btw. Just what my boat looks like minus the nice paint and chromed motor. Also, it shows the pattern I intend to do.

I'm sort of bias because I don't like yellow all that much so I would say burgundy.

I'm thinking burgundy, because a) I think it'll look cool with the graphite and b) a yellow like that with a clear is going to be pretty blinding from the cockpit of the boat out on the water on a sunny day. I imagine too much reflection.

Did these really quick. Sorry it does not look better, the image was very low quality.
I vote Burgundy!

Thanks Adam, the bottom is going to be all graphite. I'm really not liking the way that looks actually. I would need a lighter red for the contrast to look right but the graphite is already darker than that.
I'm sorta leaning towards the yellow just because of the contrast. But so many people seem to dislike yellow... Maybe if I can find a metallic burgundy that is light enough...
Ben, this will be single stage. Decided not to break the bank. The boat won't see very much sunlight anyways.

Thanks Adam, the red does look better than burgundy. But the yellow just pops! Don't you think?
I'm also sort of surprised the only guy on here with a yellow car voted for red.

I think the yellow looks cool too, I was just thinking of the glare. If you don't think that's a problem and are leaning that way, do it.

Do you have a paint scheme yet? The rendering looks nice, but if you are going to repaint it then I would try to do some lines that make the boat to appear more modern.

I love my car but my favorite color combination is red and black!

I've drawn up a few. But came back to this, possibly minus the middle spear. I'm open to suggestions for sure.
