While I had the guage cluster out I decided to move my boost guage behind the stock cluster.

So bad news, I'll never again be able to tell the time in my Vette. Unless I look at the radio or my cell phone, but at least now I know how much boost I'm making. :D

That clear stuff is Home Depot plexiglas. Cheap, cut it with a dremel tool. I just used it because I had it laying around. I was originally going to mount it flush with the back of the guage housing, but that threw off the guage alignment because I drilled it up in the air. So I used some nuts to space it. Bolts to the autometer studs and the stock mounting holes in the guage housing.

Also, had to grind down the metal lip around the clock so the guage could sit further up. This is a... 2 1/4" guage I think.

You can just barely see it here. Look for the red needle next to the orange needle.

Too bad I can't bring your sand rail down to SD. I'd have had it done by now.

That's pretty slick. I've thought of redoing my entire center console up through the gauge cluster, sorta like you're doing. An A/F gauge might be useful.

You can have it anytime you want I just don't have a trailer.

You take your 6.6L and Allison trans for granted. My Neon isn't quite as good for towing. :p

You would put your NOS pressure guage there. :)

It was a simple case of profiling.

As it turns out they were pulling everyone over who was driving on the sidewalk that night.

Haha, nice. Can't believe they suspended your license for that. How retarded. I would have argued that one and appealed and appealed. At least waste the states money if they're going to fuck you in the ass.

Yeah the police report said "I turned left and almost hit the curb in the center island." The way I see it is I hit it or I didn't what is this almost bull shit?

Also I drive a fairly large truck and the lanes in Downtown HB are small so yeah coming close to the curb I think is kinda bullshit. :nutkick:

BTT, I put my a/f gauge in one of my air vents and it looks great. I like yours better though.

I scored a 5 guage bezel veneer from Karsten on VM btw, if you want it it's yours. It's made to screw over the stock housing and mount all Autometer guages. And I'm too cheap to buy 5 Autometer guages, thus my solution.

Thanks brother but I'll pass. Raise a little scratch for yourself if you can.
