Yesterday this 200lb chimp just went crazy and attacked a friend of the owner. The 911 tape is insane - I guess the chimp just ripped the ladies face clean off :( (http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/02/17/chimpanzee.attack/index.html)

The owner tried hitting the chimp with a shovel and stabbing it with a butcher knife before calling the cops.

When the cops came the chimp broke off the side view mirror of one of the cop cars and then opened the door to try attack the officer. The officer opened fire at that point and even after being shot and stabbed the chimp still made it back to his room before he died. Crazy stuff.

Oh, and I knew chimps were much stronger than humans (I thought 2x or 3x), but in the article it says a 200lb chimp is 5x to 7x as strong as a 200lb human :leaving:

This is sad. Believe it or not, I feel bad for the Chimp. Fucking humans and they the way they treat animals.

I agree. No way a chimp should be a pet; unless he works at a bar smoking cigarettes.

You really don't have ANY idea what happens to people if I see them hurting (misstreating) an animal. It's not for the weak of stomach.:judge:

Is slaughter considered mistreatment?

Is slaughter considered mistreatment?

Of human or animal?

Yea, I know where you're going with this. Don't bother. ;)
