That's ridiculous. If I went this far though I'd go with a custom chassis that takes at least C5 running gear, including the torque tube/transaxle setup for better weight distribution. It's awesome and somebody really put some time and effort into it. It'll be a hoot.

But I can't help but be analytical.
- I've yet to hear anything good about MSD packs
- That looks like a hydromatic brake setup. They tend be very on/off (i.e., not progressive) and and if the engine every cuts out your brakes are gone too (unlike vacuum assist).
- That looks like the shark bite setup in the rear. According to TT that has several geometry problems.

But seriously, it's pretty hot. I'm curious about the front suspension setup. I don't quite recognize it.

Just about anything MSD is problematic.:pot_stir:

I agree, going to try Mallory next time.

That's just an SRIII frame, I think it's called. Tube frame for a C2/C3. You wouldn't want a C5 drivetrain because a C3 is 49/51 weight distribution. Putting a C5 trans in the back would make it more like 46/54.

I don't like hydroboost either. Especially because my blower wants to be where my power steering pump should be.

Being the sick person that I am I have a spreadsheet with a complete list. Round number with parts, paint and the cost of the car around $65k and that doesn't account for any labor.

I have it on UsedCorvettesForSale.com asking $72k and accepting offers. Obviously expensive rubber bumpers won't appeal to just anyone but I'm sure in time someone will appreciate it like I do.

Thanks!
