So my parents have a 2003 Nissan Altima they bought new in 03 it has about 80,000 miles on it. First id like to say they maintain there cars as well they know how by taking them to Good Year, where they have been going for the past 15 years or so. Apparently it had no oil in it at all some how it leaked out or disappeared between oil changes? So the mechanic did an oil change... no fill and told them to get rid of it ASAP. So now they are in the market for a NEW 4 door sedan in the under 30K price range. Lets hear the recommendations ill let you know what dealership the Altima goes to so you can avoid it at all costs.

Evo 9 or 10, very safe car with good gas mileage. Your parents would adore it. :p

New or used cars?
If you can find any Pontiac G8 GT's left on a lot, that would be high on my list!

I'm along the same line of thought. First thought would be a G8 GT. Second would be a new CTS.
