I know BRUTAL is armed to the teeth and Gunfish is a hunter and enthusiast as is his son, his sig escapes me at the moment. I'm interested in getting one actually, but would want to take some hard core training to go with it. Through my research this place seems to be about the best there is.

http://www.gunsite.com/

Not cheap. But all in all probably not a bad value for intensive training.

My choice of firearm would probably be a 1911 Style Colt 45.

Oh yeah, Chuck. As far as handguns, I don't own a Sig, but my favorite is a Colt combat commander (45). Got a lot more shotguns and rifles.

You don't need a course. I can teach you what you need to know. I taught Darlene. After I taught Darlene she took my S&W Performance Center 629 44 mag and on her first shot she scored a DEAD CENTER Bulls eye at 30 ft.:gatlin:

You need to shoot my Glock 21 SF 45 acp first before you decide on a 1911. There is many reasons to consider a Glock. Don't get me wrong I love the 1911. I have one picked out for me in the future. Talk with me later when you want.

I'm an intensive training kind of guy. A week of day and night from people who do literally nothing but think about this stuff and teach it is gonna bring the level up considerably no matter what. But I'll still take you up on your offer as a pre-introduction.

Don't get me wrong - I loves me some handguns - but if home protection is part of your plan, nothing says "Don't F*%k with me" like a shotgun.
They're also less fussy when it comes to taking aim at center mass.

Oh, and with the right load, you don't have to worry about putting a hole in one of your neighbors:

I've got a 500 Mossberg 18 inch barrel that I picked up new at Turners on consignment.

Yep, it's right where I get at it.

First two rounds are bird shot the next few are 00 buck.;)

No problem. We can go to the Firing Line over here, and you can put a few rounds thru the Glock.

That thing is bad ass I do really like the Taurus grips they are nice I looked at the 357 mag but I liked the S&W better with 7 round capacity. But that :judge: looks like a bad ass weapon.

Good question. I think because it's scary!! (for retards)
All I know is, you can't buy them here. Guess I'll have to try another state and smuggle it in (just kidding BATF - really......just fooling around.....honest.....please, don't send the jack booted thugs.):sm_up_there:

Aside from the self defense angle, I'm thinking it would make a great snake pistol, too!

Barrel length? Perhaps some other "evil feature" like a pistol grip on a semi-automatic rifle which magically transforms it into an assualt rifle I guess. Seriuosly though, while we're on the brink economic collapse suffeciently to warrant releasing criminals from prison, you can bet your sweet a$$ if you got caught smuggling that you'd be incarcerated.

You're right about that. I'm waiting to see if I can talk one of my less informed brethren into bringing it to me. Think I got a chance? There are 2 states I'm working with (None of which is Jersey, Massachusetts or Illinois if anyone is taking bets)

Doug, you know I have a few somewhat radical opinions about government including police. But I've got to say you're the coolest cop I've ever met, and I'm not just saying that because you're armed like a small country. . .

Forget the fact my abacus doesn't go high enough to count the number of laws you must be breaking if these were in CA, I don't even know what this one is. Are you sure it's a real gun? Looks like a prop from Battle Star Gallactica or something.

My assault weapons are still in NY because of CA laws & all my weapons are legal and are covered under my CCW or FFL.

That(my baby) is my Styer Aug .223 Cal semi auto.

If I remember correctly, It is because it fires shotgun shells in a hand gun.:crutches:

You are looking at a rare Styer AUG Pre-ban Semi-Auto rifle in .223 cal in the movie. It is the same as Doug's.

Very cool gun of a bull-pup design. Many years ago, just before the ban, my friends and I held an "assault gun" shoot where every type of weapon was available for people to shoot. My favorite was a SIG 551. I even broke out my Baretta BM-62. TV folks came out to film and of course the news only showed the one shot with someone rapid firing a Hungarian AK.

This sucks. :nutkick:

Yeah the :censored: thing is I don't drink very much I have a few twice a month at most. But yeah I have to go in to the gun shop and see what my options are. I may just get my money back less a small restocking fee. Hopefully they will wave it when I get it straightened out because I will buy the gun again.
