Very sad. Given how fast that track it, those steel poles should have been padded or something...

I don't know that pads would help.

The tragedy is obvious. There's another part of me that thinks of all the ways to leave this world, something everyone of us will do someday, doing it at the peak of our abilities in what we love to do is perhaps not the worst that can happen.

I agree. It is sad but if you ahve to go you might as well do it doing something you love.
