Time to put yo money where yo mouth is. Ever wonder how much HP enkeivette's blown C3 makes? So has everybody else. Now he's looking for an intercooler. Then, at some dyno day he's gonna run it.
The rules:
1 - $10 gets you in the pool.
2 - The closest number to PEAK HP wins, whether over or under.
3 - Just reply to this thread with your intent to participate and your estimate. You can change your mind once up until midnight of the day before the pull. All participants will be aggregated into this thread.
NOTE: enkei doesn't have an intercooler yet or a dyno day scheduled.

Hahahahaha, I moved Procharger up on the list so those less familiar will see it. Btw, the dyno will be done using only 91 octane. Although I may move the timing up 2-4 degrees if I feel balsy, especially after the intercooler.
I've always been disappointed with my hp, so I'm in for 550rwhp.

I know we give you a ton of shit, but to put it in prespective.
My H/C/I package was ~$6k installed with another 2k for headers and CAI. So for $8K I got 460 rwhp.
Now I'm having a 418 ci LS3 built for ~$12k and I will be happy with 500 rwhp.
550 rwhp would be a great number.

I'm in for 550rwhp non-intercooled and 625rwhp with an intercooler.

This is for after the intercooler, so I got you down for 625.
We're in a similar range of thinking. Having ridden in it I'm pretty sure he's in the low/mid 500 now, it is brutally faster than our 12 second cars. The intercooler will ultimately be good for something like 50ish I figure.

Wow....now that enkeivette may finally get to the dyno...I may have to put mine up after the cam change I just did..We have smiliar builds. Should be interesting. BTW...my combo put down 330RWHP before the S/C went on.

I'm not in the pool, but I think you are right on. As long as the number is lower than mine...(555) :pot_stir:

That's 701 flywheel hp with a 17% loss. Weren't you the biggest advocate that my car isn't making 700hp?

First of all, I challenge you to find any post I made that says your car doesn't make 700 HP. You won't find one because I never wrote that.
Here's one of my posts from that discussion.
I never argued that his car wasn't making the power he claimed. I was merely pointing out that the formula he was using to calculate it doesn't work.
And secondly, the earlier discussion was about your non-intercooled car. This discussion is after you install an intercooler. I assume you'll be making tuning adjustments to take advantage of that cooler air.
