Laugh all you want. My wife's MX-5 is still the best handling car I've ever driven, period.

Yes. But I enjoy driving it . . . a lot. Even now that it's covered in Hello Kitty. Especially now. :pot_stir:

But Hello kitty is a Japanese cartoon so the sticker will add at least 50whp. I say it's worth the paint damage.

You can start here (http://logoride.com/hekiauac.html?gclid=CJ_-5Izh3ZgCFQkzawodVD1icA). Hello Kitty is gansta.

Or maybe this is more your style:

Yes, sir. A real MAN's vehicle. Back in the early 80's I started to sell the Vette to buy a Cobra kit. I was at the manfactures place figuring out my order, when life kicked me in the ass. So I still have a Chevy and no Cobra.:o:sm_up_there:

That "Man's vehicle" is a miata. Look at them cute lil 13 inch wheels :sm_laughing: Probably one of those wicked v8 cars though...damn things are fast. Id like to do one...if it didnt involve starting with a miata.

Though, in the interest of full disclosure, I did have a new MX-5 as a rental once, car was a hoot. Literally used the gas pedal as an on/off switch 80% of the time, paddle shifters and such, was pretty damn fun down the canyon. Would never drive one regularly though...far too...:gay:

I thought it looked odd. The wheel wells are wrong. So it's a Miata. That is just plain sad. :(:censored:

I did that just for you. Look down the rear quarter panel, clearly Miata.

However, maybe someday we can build an Mk3. . .

You want to make the Miata a Man's car??

\
I remember way back in 1989. I was getting a new car for the current girl I was living with. We were down to a Maita (only because it was so cute for her) or a 90 LX 5.0. We got the Mustang.:judge:

89 was the first year for the Miata. Me mum wanted one, but they were going for like 100% markups as I recall.

BTW, the MK3 is the Factory Fave Racing Cobra Replica. Unlike Superformance from South Africa, you have to put these together and there are a lot of options. But by all accounts they are very well made and can be turned into quite awesome cars. There's a local shop I like that has there own high nickel content iron 351W and some gnarly packages. Maybe someday. One project at a time.

I was-still am- into the Cobra kits. If I could sell my Vette for enough money to build a good Cobra, I'd do it in a heart beat.:bigthumbsup::bigthumbsup:

30G plus your labor and you can have a fantastic one. With a couple g invested in your Vette and a better market, you probably could get int he 20s.

Oh my hands are full. A few of us could certainly help with paint and body if you were ever down for it. Honestly I'd love to build a Twin Turbo Glass Black C2, with a red hour glass on the head like a Black Widow. That one is probably gonna have to stay in my imagination for a while.
