Jerry bought his new head by for me to take a look at. Just damn!

Very nice, right out of the box. Exhaust port shape was almost perfect. The intake was very close to perfect...maybe needed a port match.

Great heads.:drink:

You know, he's kinda cute.:inout:

These. (http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=919&catid=109)

This is for heypal's turbo Impala. It should easily have more hp than a ZR1 Vette by the time he's finished.

Nope, that's beefed up and better than ever too. It should hold pretty easily now.

Heypal, do you do this with the supercharged motors for a low CR and replace the intake with a NA one? Or do you start with the NA motor if you want to turbo?

That video is of Jeffs car the current fastest 10.00 with a charge pipe popping off or something like that. you can do it with either motor but the l67/l32(supercharged motors)Are better if you want to run more boost on pump gas remember alot of turbos sweet spot is in the 20+psi range on these cars. At the end of the day you want either a built motor like the route I went. Or a low mileage l67/l32 bottom end with l36/l26(N/A motors) top end with a turbo and other goodies. Btw the fastest grand prix was on a stock bottom end for a few years its all in the tune best run of he Worlds fastest FWD 3800- 8.6582 @ 158.97mph(copied from zzperformance.com)thats on the stock bottom end. And the impala video is stock bottom end(st4 cam like myself) but he has stock heads...and a different bigger turbo :(

Just curious. Any body turbo the SS V8? I would think a V8 would be a better engine to start for more torque.

Yeah they have a turbo kit...from a guy that doesn't mind stealing money from you...just saying.

But their trans won't handle the torque so no one will do it.

Weak FWD trannies are a problem. With the SHO you can pay $4000 for gear sets with 500ft-lbs torque ratings. The stock trannies strip third gear over 350ft-lbs of torque. The big problem I have seen is putting down that much power without making the car only good for the strip.

Our trannies are about the same range on a full weight car. It was just shy of 4k for mine.
