And She's got power:
6.1L Hemi
425hp
420lb/ft
But She's a BIG bitch:
4140lbs curb weight :fatnana: and as a result not so quick, estimated 13.9 second quarter mile. I love the looks, but that performance definitely leaves something to be desired.

She responds to blowing too. . .
Wasn't there some talk of like a classic 426 Hemi at well over 500?

At 4140 lbs, even with 500hp it wouldn't be any better than a high 12 sec car...

That is a very nice looking car. The lines as very clean. She is big though!

Neither will your pullied Cobra be, which still won't be in the 10s. (Nor will I, but I prefer to leave that part out.)

Not a fan of the rear end. The tail lights going all the way across kinda bother me :sorry:

LOL, the back is my favorite part (Alexis too). I love the look of the car, just not a fan of the weight. But if you have a 700hp Blown Hemi, the weight really isn't an issue

Well believe it or not with some kw v2's and a set of sways this tanker can run pretty good, I take my C to Willows once in a while and it handles well. THe full taillights do kinda suck, Im gonna blackout the middle I think. It is what it is, The 09's have a 6 speed tranni.
I got mine for 500.00 under MSRP so it was more like I had to then I wanted to. Will see it will be fun to play with for a yr or 2.

Do you do something in the auto industry? You seem like you're pretty into this stuff, so I'm just guessing.

Not really, I drive a Ford F250 Diesel crewcab to work and the wife has a 5.7 300C. I used to have a 69 Valiant with a straight 6.

Does your wife ever ask you to throw a 392cu Hemi in hers? The reason I'm considering getting a Magnum for my wife is because she's started stealing my Cobra :sm_laughing: Truth be told, she's actually getting to be pretty good at driving it, but I'd rather her have her own fast car. We don't have any kids yet, but we'll probably start thinking about it in a year or two, so I figure the Magnum would make a good family car.

No, she likes to slam the pedal and just go, Thats cool for a stock 5.7 but in my stump puller that aint gonna happen. She'd be sideways so fast it would be stupid. Put her in a Charger R/T 5.7. I got so many hemi 300 parts its not funny, I wanted to do her exhaust/CAI but she wants it quiet. So its better I dont screw with her ride. Anything happened it be my fault. the 5.7 hemi is fast enough for a young lady.

I like it a lot. Sexy, too bad it's a pig. I wonder how easy it would be to junk 500lbs off of it. Prob not practical without setting off the engine light for 20 different reasons. New cars, ugh.

Yeah, but if the new GTR is any indication; stunning things can be done at that weight. Of course it requires expensive alien technology, but heh.

Everyone keeps saying she is beautiful...there must be some chubby chasers on this board. I am going to buck the system here and say I like the way they did the "single" rear light assembly. I would not even come close to comparing it to the intrepid. i think that with the recess in the rear where the lights sit works. Of course when you put black and red together it makes my blood boil, H-O-T, HOT!!!

Anyways, This car is awesome looking for sure. I would love to have one as a daily driver. One of my co-workers has one and I'm trying to get him to race. I'm hoping to get a case of Blue moon :drink: and a free car wash out of it.

Here is a stock R/T dyno sheet. Not bad, Basically it seems to be on par with an LS2 GTO.

One of the cheifs I work with just got a ne Challenger SRT-8. He swears that it will kill my vette. I predict case of beer and a free car wash are comming my way:drink:. Anyways, I like the way they look. They look tuff. Not exocitc, but 1985 Monte carlos SS and GNX tuff. On a side not, I told him that I would bet a $100 that he couldn't break into the 13's on his first run.

They're high 12/low 13 second cars. There is NO way he keeps up with your Vette. As for running 13's, we'll see. I hope his first run goes better than my first run in the Cobra :leaving:

Sean, put down the crack pipe brother:farley2:. The only SRT-8 that came close to 12's was the Silver one with the lowered suspension and CF hood at Fontana this last fall(that I've seen run anywhere). That car had a Vortech and was running 13.10-13.60's at 106-109. A completely stock car will run 12's at englishtown, but nowhere else.
Alexis it might be time for some family intervention:(.
