=============================================
OP
Time for another cruise. Let's meet at Savi Ranch in Yorba Linda at 12:00. The lot is large, but we'll be at the back by Dick's Sporting Goods. The address is:

23081 Savi Ranch Parkway
Yorba Linda, CA 92886

I'm planning to hang out until 12:30 to 12:45 and then roll out to Santiago Canyon all the way to Fuddruckers in Lake Forest. Here is the route (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=23081+Savi+Ranch+Parkway+yorba+linda+ca+9288 6&daddr=Santiago+Canyon+rd+to:23621+El+Toro+Road+Lak e+Forest+CA,+92630&geocode=FeHWBAId_4P7-Ck7RNUJKc7cgDEDYFPcRDQBIg%3BFTkGAwIdNTn8-CmdnSKvf8TcgDGJcgG63buHMw%3BFS39AAIdJwH8-CkDHWCk8OjcgDF4FLP4nbq7Lg&hl=en&mra=ls&dirflg=ht&sll=33.74715,-117.708415&sspn=0.256925,0.667419&ie=UTF8&ll=33.842047,-117.743568&spn=0.06416,0.166855&t=h&z=13), and here is the address for Fudd's:

23621 El Toro Road
Lake Forest CA, 92630

For anyone that wants to meet us at Fuddruckers, we should arrive around 1:30. The food is great, and it's a big, open lot so you don't have to worry about your car. See you all there!

Hi Sean , I will make it if I am not Smoging cars Sat. You should make it down Live Oak Canyon. Make a left at Cooks corner. The Oak tree canopy is cool to drive in. It is tight and twisty but the cops hang out on weekends. You will come out in Rancho Santa Margarita. Take RSM pkwy back to El Toro road or just run Live Oak back to Cooks Corner.

Yes, I'm keeping my eye on it. There is a 30% chance of same rain tonight, but it's supposed to be only early on and then clear up if it happens at all...

If it rains, so help me

GMR and GRR have been regulation free the last 4 times Ive been up there, and each time has been at noon on a Saturday.

I got some videos of the cruise, I just need to attempt to edit it and upload it here. Good little cruise BTW, too slow for me though, but great scenery.

I had a great time too. My suggestion is my favorite road. CA58 from Buttonwillow to San Luis Obisbo. Somewhat of a drive, but what a road. I take it everytime I travel to the bay area. Once when I was in a rental G37, I was in the middle of a Ferrari Club. They all pulled over to get everyone lined up. I go out and checked the cars out. The guy running the event told me that I could go around them and move on. I told him I will just pull over just ahead of them so I can listen to the Ferraris pass by.

Now I have to figure out what next:

-The LA Auto Show which we could attend on either the 5th, 6th, 12th, or 13th.
-Dyno Day at RET on the 12th ($40 for 3 pulls w/no A/F for anyone interested)
-Motorgen December Meet also on the 12th

What do you guys think? Opinions? We do the show in the morning on the 12th, then stop by the dyno day, and then do the meet, but that seems like a lot for one day...

Not even I would suggest trying to do three things in one day. That should be your hint. Two would be a good maximum. enkeivette is doing finals until the 15th, so I don't htink he could make a dyno day on the 12th, and it sure would be a hoot to get him on a dyno. So maybe the show and the meet? BTW, anything special going to debut at the show?

It's not our dyno day, Greg is just having one and I was going to stop by on the way back from LA potentially. We don't have to or anything.

GREAT Video Ben

Thanks Doug. The music at the beginning is:

Doves - Some Cities

Great album! I used it just because it fired up on my CD when starting the car and it seemed like a nice way to segway and cut the first portion.

BTW, gotta love SoCal. Not only can you routinely run into a Lambo (around 2:15), I'm 99% sure the car I'm following from around 5:00" is a 70s era Aston Martin. Great day. The weather turned out beautiful.

dang no pics of the s2k in the canyon, i was 2 cars ahead of the red talon at the front of that line, the srt 4 was in front of him behind me. Hard to keep the s at a slow pace throught the twisties.

i know what you mean, me with my s13, man so much fun, drifted a few corners haha. but no pics of me in the caynon either, i was towards the back of the group. just takin my time, than speeding up through the fun parts of the canyon and than slowing down for the line behind the the blue mustang

I threw my car sideways through the uphill left turn at the end. Got way out and carried it all the way through. It was definitely a fun cruise :)

It looked like you had some fun drifting that corner! That really made me miss my rear wheel drive :bang:

It's all good though, I still have mad love for my Srt-4!
