Yep, went to start the Vette last night. The starter was draging a little and the damn Chevy wouldn't start. Being the engine was stone cold, I tried again. The starter started to spin the engine then draged down. Well, having 1000 cranking amps and arc welding cables I knew the battery was good and the cables good. So I try again. The starter started starts to spin then drags down. Start to smell something funny, open hood----starter on fire. DAMN CHEVIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:

Get her a horse shoe for Christmas. Maybe that will help.
