LOL, maybe you could just smear a thin layer of Vasoline on the windshield, I think that would work :p

The wipers don't work on the T-bird. The wipers work on the Vette. So I need Rain-x or I have to change the starter tonight on the Vette. Not a fun idea.:(

I used it on the Chevelle years ago but I also had the wipers, they just didn't work that well. It did help.

Allow an old Model T guy to suggest something? Model T's had an optional hand operated wiper, that was usually cranked by the passenger(If you had one).
The old timers learned long ago, if you cut an onion in half, and smear it across the windshield, the chemicals break the surface tension, and the water sheets. We have done it on tours. It works.

Isn't putting eggs in the radiator an old trick for sealing pinhole leaks. Oh man, imagine the onions and eggs smell if you combined these "remedies". :smack:

Ground pepper. I still do that. Alot of Cat mechanics do too. I sealed my son's head gasket with it. I have also cured weeping new freeze plugs with it. The pepper harmlessly stays in suspension, but when a fiber finds a hole, it wedges in and expands when it hits air. It only needs to hold 16PSI.
